The Rush Limbaugh Controversy

 For many years I used to driver somewhere around noon, and I didn't have XM radio then so I used to listen to Limbaugh on the radio.  He used to talk about how fat Ted Kennedy was, and I remember when Vince Foster was killed, he used to more than imply that Hillary Clinton had killed him.  His own life, illustrated by his own enormous weight, many marriages, and drug addictions,  are not really conducive to his being critical of others.

 He was outrageous, and because of that I have to confess I enjoyed listening to his show on my drives, because it was more surreal than real. It's quite surprising to see congressmen and some news figures treating him these days like some wizened elder stateman. Jimmy the Greek, Don Imus, and Howard Cosell were suspended from the air for saying just a partial iota of what this jackass says everyday.  I think the people who think he is some sort of a spokesman for the Republican Party, have not really ever listened to him.  Not to go on about this,  but it is rather absurd and sad for him to be taken seriously.
