St.Martin's Press Buys New Kim Book Fall 2009 Publication Planned Work Begins Apace! New York (AP)- After a weeklong negotiation, noted Editor Thomas Dunner and Kim agreed to a deal that wil return Kim to thebookstores in the fall of 2009. The subject of the book was not delineated but will involve the role of Washington lawyers in sports,, politics and business. One source said the working title is, "How the Red Sox Won the Pennant," highlighting baseball executive Larry Lucchino. ANOTHER POSSIBLE TITLE IS "The Firms that Run the World." Catchy ? The new regimen was very much in evidence already as the week before July 4, Kim was seen in his office after dark, busily making prepartion, not for Fireworks, but for 90,000 new words designed to both educate and entertain. Kim Met with Publisher Tom Dunne on Friday. Things went very well. We are both excited to be working together again, they said in a joint statement following the ice tea and cheese cake. The manuscript is due on June 1, 2009. |
